We work on both sides of automotive sourcing. For OEMs, we turn a vehicle or system need into a technical RFQ package that suppliers can quote against, then evaluate the bids. For suppliers, we build technical responses that match the requirements and the process expectations. Scope of Work, DIA and responsibility matrix are agreed before nomination, so the program starts on clear ground.
What we do
- Write and analyze RFIs, on the OEM or supplier side.
- Prepare RFQ packages: requirement specifications, component and system technical specifications (CTS).
- Specify the safety and process requirements suppliers must meet: ISO 26262, ASPICE.
- Write technical RFQ responses for suppliers, compliance matrix included.
- Evaluate and compare supplier bids technically on behalf of OEMs.
- Draft the Scope of Work: work packages, effort estimate, schedule, milestones.
- Run make-or-buy analyses and define the technical sourcing strategy.
- Set up the DIA and RASIC/RACI responsibility matrices.
- Audit suppliers technically: ASPICE, ISO 26262, process maturity.
