A model and a prototype answer questions that slides cannot. We build MIL plant models, develop control laws and run them on a rapid prototyping platform, a demonstrator vehicle or a driving simulator. The goal is a clear go/no-go on the concept, backed by data, before hardware and supplier commitments are made.
What we do
- Build MIL plant models: vehicle dynamics, tires, braking, powertrain, thermal.
- Develop control laws in MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.
- Run control laws on a rapid prototyping platform or a demonstrator vehicle.
- Prototype ADAS functions: longitudinal and lateral control, such as ACC and lane keeping.
- Run feasibility studies and compare concepts on objective criteria.
- Size actuators, sensors and control loops at a preliminary stage.
- Use a driving simulator for early evaluation and safety validation.
- Couple Simulink models with the simulator for driver-in-the-loop tests.
